Little Red Balloon – Kirsten’s Butterfly Garden Party

Hello Everyone!

Today we would like to feature a Garden themed party that was styled, crafted and conceptualised by our team.

The brief that we got from Mummy L was to create a garden party with butterflies for little Kirsten’s 1st Birthday Celebration. The venue was at Como Dempsey and she wanted the decor to blend in with the huge overhanging vines in the center of the restaurant. The colour theme chosen was an elegant chic white and rose gold.

We made a hollow standing marquee number 1 and filled it up with balloons.

After the sliding doors open, this was the view that was seen by the guest. Mummy L didn’t want the kitchen feature of the venue to be blocked off thus together with the restaurant’s overhanging vines, we added some hoops with flowers and vines to enhance the look of the feature wall. Of course not forgetting the main star of the theme which was butterflies!

300 butterflies were specially custom made for baby Kirsten.

For the cake cutting area, we proposed a circle arch frame as the backdrop setting with our organic decor. Circular arches are the latest trend for party decor at the moment. The cake stand was also dressed in line with the theme.

Beside the cake cutting area was her dessert table in which we used our cart and dressed it up with our organic balloon garland. Desserts were provided by Como.

We also had a little corner beside the main backdrop for our balloon artist to make cute sculptures for the children and adults! Yes, you read that correctly. Adults love them too! =)
